About the event

You are invited to join the Kakao Kundalini event, which combines a cacao drinking ceremony, yoga and deep meditation work on Saturday 6th July - helping you to shift old energy and gain a new perspective for the rest of the year to come.

Cacao is the raw material that comes from cacao beans - chocolate at its puriest form before it is processed. It is not only a nutrient rich super food but it also contains flavonols, which help to improve the blood flow of the brain, bringing improvements to mental focus. If that isn't enough, cacao also contains serotonin which improves the mood and decreases stress. There is also anandamide  which is also known as a "bliss" chemical that produces a feeling of euphoria. You only have to look up this wonder bean yourself to see all the benefits it can provide.

We use ceremonial grade cacao that has been farmed from small family run farms in the Peruvian Amazon and Guatemala. This is cooked up like a hot chocolate drink (but the taste is much more bitter) and you will drink a small cup of this.

After drinking the cacao, we proceed to our yoga session, which will help balance all of our chakaras, shifting blocked energy, before we take a long, guided, deep meditation.

There are many other spiritual aspects that are added to this session, such as cleansing smoke, working with our own intensions and time spent at the end to help us to interperate our own meditations.

This event starts at 10am and finishes at 12:30pm.

Bring a yoga mat along with you, a cushion/small pillow and a blanket.
